Mitchell is an award-winning video producer working in Richmond, DC and Charlottesville, Virginia.  He is a cinematographer at INTERMODAL MEDIA, specializing in connecting clients with online audiences. His work uses the techniques of documentary production to create authentic, shareable works that connect emotionally with viewers.

Mitchell is also a strategist and educator who helps communicators in Higher Education tap into the unique capital of their institutions to create powerful video messaging. He has been leading workshops in video production for Higher Ed. since 2013.

His work has appeared at wired.com, nationalgeographic.com, gizmodo.com, boingboing.net and many other media outlets. He is available for consultation and production work.
